What is The Lift Project?
The Lift Project is an award-winning mental health and wellbeing program that explores in a fun and simple way science-based strategies that can “lift your mood and your life”. Created by internationally recognised wellbeing expert, Dr Darren Morton, The Lift Project involves 10 lessons over a 7-10 week period. The program is accessed online but is designed to connect individuals and families. CLICK HERE to view the first lesson of the program. Research has shown that people who participate in The Lift Project experience significant reductions in depressive symptoms, anxiety and stress, as well as significant improvements in wellbeing, vitality and resilience.
We are a profit-for-purpose company committed to lifting 10 million lives, and to donating profits to organisations that support human health, happiness and hope.
The Lift Project is being offered in September 2022 by the Lake Macquarie City Council as a community development initiative and will be made freely available to over 200,000 residents living in the Local Government Area. Local businesses are being invited to partner with The Lift Project by supporting this exciting initiative. Submit your expression of interest to be a sponsor of Lifting Lake Mac by April 30 (the number of partners are limited).
